Below are the profiles for my critics. The first ten listed are the core arbiters. In the event of excusable absence, substitute judged are implemented.

Palate: Solid spiciness, and salt. Dark chocolate.Nothern Light beers to amber ales with sushi and southern BBQ.
Gastronomic Habits: Growing up with a "Meat & 'Taters" dad and a seafaring mom proved an unstoppable hurricane of tastes. I eat like a predator sadly, I would much rather be a grazer. Put anything on a grill and I'll love it. My belief is when you grow or catch your own ingredients, they are much sweeter - you are more in touch and earn a higher respect for what you eat.

Palate: Chocolate! Dark, semi-sweet, milk; with nuts, caramel, just a few ways I love it!
Gastronomic Habits: I bake because I can and it invigorates me to create something so good with my hands for others to enjoy! I like to pretend I am a reality show judge when tasting food. I started cooking and baking at a young age because of Julia Child, one of the most amazing people in my opinion. Bon appetit!

Eat Freak
Palate: BBQ, stir-fry, cheese, chocolate truffles, berries and wine
Gastronomic Habits: I love to eat...period. If I were stuck on an island and I had to eat the same meal morning, noon and night, everyday, I would choose to eat BBQ chicken with a side of sour cream and green beans. I can't tolerate extremely salty foods or extremely sweet treats. I appreciate a well-crafted meal, but usually find myself whipping up 5-minute dishes.

Palate: Garlic, seafood, lamb, spicy stuff, bacon, vanilla, berries but not big on nuts.
Gastronomic Habits: I've worked in different types of restaurants in the past, from American to Asian. So now I just try blending stuff I picked up from those experiences as well as from family and friends to make whatever I'm cooking as enjoyable as I can. When I cook it's almost always a savory dish and if I had to eat one thing for rest of my life it would be shrimp.

Palate: sweet, salty, caramel, anything sweet! Wine, cheeses, pastas, I love them all! Mostly, I love me some red velvet and some key lime pie! I also have an affinity for peanut butter.
Gastronomic habits: I'm generally a picky eater, but I've started to grow out of it as I've gotten older. I've never been a seafood lover, land lubber is the way for me! I can't cook to save my life, but I'm capable of baking, and I enjoy it a lot.

Palate: Sweet, salty, chocolate, caramel, ice cream is a major weakness, cheese, beer and wine!
Gastronomic Habits: I'm quite a picky eater although I've come along way in the past few years. I'm learning to love hot & spicy but have always loved the combo of sweet and salty. Breakfast is my favorite meal but I could eat dessert morning, noon, and night!

Gastronomic Habits: I spent 10 years in food production of some type, working as a cook, farming and in the seafood industry. I am usually spending my time trying to recreate favorite dishes from my childhood and travels. A foodie doing my best to lower my foodprint yet still indulge.

Cupcake Canine (Retired)
Palate: My palate is populated by a guarded and often unruly community of taste buds, they are all over the place. I think because I'm multi-cultural genetically, some of my taste buds are Italian while others are Hispanic and still others are American. I try to get them all to agree, but they can be pretty disagreeable. Generally they all agree on the consumption of meat, particularly beef and pork, and preparing it in a way that reflects where they're from. But they also agree that sweet must follow salty - hence a need for desserts, but my fat cells usually have a say and tell my taste buds to lay off and stick to fruit. If they had free range, though, it'd be chocolate all the way. Dark. And cheesecake. Oh, and Ice Cream. Thank God for those fat cells . . .

Usually, especially if I am devouring a side of beef, I remind people of a feeding frenzy often seen on National Geographic shows about sharks, wolves, or other canine-type predators. I seem to subconsciously believe a pack of wolves are going to find me and will steal my prey away from me, so I eat speedily and with a frequent glance over my shoulders. But I now aim to be more discriminating in my tastes and tasteful in my eating habits.

My tastes might seem a little elementary for my age, but when you think about it, your best cravings tend to come from your childhood years. This is probably why I can only kinda cook but love to bake because my Mom would let me stir when she baked. I like to enjoy each bite with thoughtfulness and ease. My favorite past time is gabbing over some scrumptious desserts.

Palate: Anything with chocolate in it. I am also partial to vanilla, wine, cheese, coffee, all kinds of fruit and all kinds of nuts.
Gastronomic Habits: I love sweets, as long as they are not too rich. I like salty foods when they are in front of me, but I don't crave them the way I crave sweet foods. My favorite type of chocolate is Toblerone.
